Nutrition for Athletes

8M2A7148.jpeg

- With a Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition, a background as a multi-sport athlete, and being a Pilates studio owner here in Scottsdale, I bring both the science and the lived understanding of what it takes to fuel and treat an athletes body

- The ceiling is almost always higher than an athlete believes, and the missing piece usually isn't more training. It's how they're fueling, recovering, and talking to themselves along the way.

- My work isn't only about performance. It's about the whole person first, not just the competitor. When we get that part right, the performance and the confidence always follows

Why I do this Work

Behind the Scenes

Strong Performance is built in the kitchen, in recovery, and in how an athlete thinks about their own body. I work with young athletes to fuel their training, protect their health, and build confidence that shows up on and off the field.

Recovery

Stress and under-recovery disrupt digestion, nutrient absorption, and immune function. This can show up as fatigue, slower healing, and more frequent illness or injury. I help athletes build recovery habits that support gut health and stress resilience, so their body can use the fuel they're giving it.

The Relationship between Body & Food

Athletes often feel as if they're performing under a microscope, and that pressure can shape how they see food and their own bodies. I help athletes build a steady, trusting relationship with the body & food so it becomes fuel rather than something to fear or control.

Holistic Approach

I take a whole-body approach that looks at sleep, stress, training load, and nutrition together. My guidance supports an athlete's development now and sets them up for long-term athletic health. Every plan I build is tailored to where an athlete is in their growth and training, and I adjust as they change.

Fueling for Performance

Every athlete needs a fueling strategy built around their sport, training load, and goals. Not just a generic meal plan. I help athletes learn what to eat before, during, and after training so they can sustain energy through every quarter, set, or lap.
